We're trying something a little different: A watch-party style webinar followed by an after party! As such, there will not be a video recording of this live event.
If you do the same tasks over and over—such as announcements of events or speaking engagements, blog post promotion, publicity, and follow-up—you have likely heard about Liz Fraley's extreme publicity and social media automation.
Liz does publicity for at least seven different personas that correspond to some of the many communities she belongs to: Liz Fraley (personal), Liz Fraley (professional), CEO of Single-Sourcing Solutions, Brand Manger for the TC Dojo, Room 42, and Arbortext advocate. She volunteers for the Silicon Valley STC, the SF Bay ACM, and TC Camp. Each persona has multiple social media accounts that differ by audience.
What's more, she only spends about 80 hrs a year doing it.
If you went to STC Summit, you had an opportunity to see her presentation, How to hack repetitive publicity tasks and get your life back!. In her session we learned that by taking advantage of a few, simple automations we could make a huge impact on our productivity.
Because the material Liz presented is complicated, in this session, she posted the video and several templates you can use for your own purposes. And, because the video is already available, we're going to assume you've already watched it. In this session, she will review the material from the original video and then dig deeper so you can learn how to directly apply the material to your own situation.
This conversational TC Dojo session is for you if you want to make progress on this topic so you get your life back and still raise your profile and build your brand on your terms.
After the live event, join us on Discord!
We'll be borrowing the Room 42 Discord server for a post-webinar hang out. Have specific questions about your personal situation that you didn't want to ask live? This is your chance. For an hour after the webinar, you can share your screen, chat over the voice channel and get immediate and direct feedback on your own personal social media automation needs. I'll even be there to help you change the templates provided by my Summit presentation to get you up and running!
About the presenter
Liz Fraley, Single-Sourcing Solutions, is a serial entrepreneur. She's founded two companies, sits on three non-profit boards, and is constantly coming up with new ways to share knowledge in the technical communications and content industries. She does the publicity for at least seven different personas that correspond to some of the many communities she belongs to: Liz Fraley (personal), Liz Fraley (professional), CEO of Single-Sourcing Solutions, Brand Manger for the TC Dojo, Room 42, and Arbortext advocate. She volunteers for the East Bay STC, the SF Bay ACM, and TC Camp. Each persona has multiple social media accounts that differ by audience (She finds it rare for the average Techcomm professional to be into programming with PyTorch and that, sadly, the computer scientists fail to find DITA all that interesting) but still finds time to write books, present frequently, travel, and read ~300 books a year.
